This is the toughest, and probably the most rewarding thing you can do.

Look at our online media guide for suggestions on media projects you can create, upload and add to your portfolio. In terms of actual media, you can use video, audio, digital photography and written works. In terms of creative expression, you could consider interviews, expressions of your own thoughts, creative photography, mobile phone camera photos, dance, performance works, and writing (like stories, poetry or essays). You’ll have to choose a place to upload your work, and once it’s uploaded you can add it to your portfolio.

If you’re not into creating your own material, you can still add other people’s media to your portfolio... from any media-upload site that provides you with the “code to add to your own site.” YouTube, for example, provides code that you can copy/paste into your portfolio that will cause a video to load and play within the Project Happiness web site.
