It's as easy as 1-2-3. (Have we said that before?) Probably the hardest part is picking a place to store your photos online.

Step #1: Set up an account with one of the photo-sharing websites. We suggest you try Flickr.com, which is easy to use, and a part of Yahoo, which many students already use for email services. If you use Google and gmail, then Picasa might be a good choice for you. Pick a service that works for you.

Upload one or more photos to your account.

Step #2: Pick the instructions for your photo service and obtain the embed code that allows us to show your video in-place on Project Happiness.

    • flickr
    • Picasa

Step #3: Go to your portfolio and drop the embed code into a new portfolio item. Click the share with the universe checkbox so your photo will be available to everyone. Your photos must first be approved by your teacher or project staff, so it might be 24 to 48 hours before your selection is universally available. However, it will be immediately available to other participants from your school and any of your partner schools.
