For Educators

If you are a teacher or community group leader who is interested in having your students/group participate in Project Happiness there are 3 steps that we recommend:

1. Check out Project Happiness: The Movie Trailer

The inspiration…where Project Happiness all started! Catch a glimpse of the year long journey of teens from India, Nigeria and America as they are challenged to find the nature of happiness and travel by plane, train and jeep to India to connect face-to-face with one another and… the Dalai Lama. Come get inspired by watching the trailer (Movie Release 2009).

2. Jump into Project Happiness: The Online Journey

Email us so we can get you and your students/group registered. Once you’re registered, you and your group can be part of the happiness conversation on the web! You’ll be able to explore and share videos, photos, podcasts and create their own online portfolio as they journey through…

  • Level I: Happiness
  • Level II: Obstacles to Happiness
  • Level III: Self-Reflection
  • Level IV: Self-Mastery
  • Level V: Compassion
  • Level VI: Interdependence

3. Immerse your class/group in Project Happiness: The Entire Journey

Invite the Project Happiness Team into your classroom or community facility for Fall 2009. Students will work through the interactive The Project Happiness Handbook (the complete version of our six online levels), you will get great support and together we’ll embark on a journey you’ll never forget!

And if you want more ideas, and especially if you'd like to help us refine the curriculum, please let us know by email.
